NICE!  Congrats!

so, does it have the magic dial to the left of the steering wheel (lockers)???  :D

you need to check out www.ultimateyota.com and www.ih8mud.com

we have a '00 cruiser (wife's grocery getter), and i'm picking up another '99 4Runner next week to play with (sold my last one - www.4rnr.net  for pics/info).

i refered to it as a center locker i meant to say center differential some people call it the center locker, it locks the transfer case and gives 50% power to the front and rear

I have a winch, but I don't need it. I only have gotten stuck a total of three times in my Rovers.

Do you want the list of your part numbers? I have it here?

My wife will tell ya I'm a smartass so take it however you want. Just thought you might like to see how an off road vechicle is supposed to work right from the factory without having to mod up as you seem to have to do to get that thing up to speed.

I'll check out the site thanks for the invite. Maybe we can get together sometime and go for a little off road cruise. There's alot of different schools of thought on 4x4'n. You can have all the equipment in the world and not have the beads to use it. And no I'm not insulting ya hewey baby!!!!!!!!

Garett, you just tossed a rock into a hornets nest. Thats a P38, let me remid you of a P38a 99'-02'. It have four wheel ETC, cross linked EAS, and a ABS system second to none.

You going to get your ass kicked by it.

Go fight the with the Rubicons while you are at.

BTW, I forgot to say that is a very nice ride.  Toyota makes some of the best all purpose vehicles from the FJ 40-80 series.  I hear some good things about the new FJ as well but have had no personal experience with them.  I would put the 78/79 FJ-40 and the 77 Ford Bronco up against any off road vehicle ever made. Hard to beat those two.  Personally I prefer the 77 Bronco because of the longer and wider wheel base.  However the articulation possible on the FJ-40 with a spring over conversion and knuckle design is unreal and the Bronco cannot touch that.  Still both great vehicles.  Congrats on a fine ride, on or off the road.

Yes I do, but it's 29K away from being paid off, so the only off road it will ever see it taking me down the logging roads up here in Arkansas.  Sorry man, BTW, I knew what your avatar was. Call my buddy, he is the real deal. Drop my name, so he knows who you are.  He is all business but a very good guy.  He can turn you on to a lot of great mods to that rascal.  You should see the work he has done.  I could not find the link to his site, but his work is incredible.  I will shoot it to you or some pics when he calls me back.

I wish I could sign out one of our Humm-Vees for the day I spank all your tales. I could probably do it in my 2X4 Dodge Dakota. I grew up in Montana there is no need for a 4 wheel drive around here.
