What a great day on the water.   Charly and I  put out  @ 17th…..and trolled our way out  by the three mile   bridge.  We were thinking heading to the pass  since the  water and  day and general looked  great ...  But guess what….monster reds hit the stretches  like there was no tomorrow…and   before   we finished our  coffee… zzzzzzzzzzzz!!!! zzzzzzzzzzzzz double trouble…we were on!!!!  Great  fight  for this one bull on a Penn 6500.  It was huge  didn’t even bother measure them…took  quick pics and back  to the water.     So what do we do now?... “Pass” or stay? …%$#@* t   we went back and did it again…..BAM!!!  2 more….high-5….boat them in, and again  didn’t measure m, quick   pics and back to the water.  Now what….yes you guessed right!!!.....went back put lines down and  BAM!!!  again….double trouble….but in this one  Charly looses his and I’m still on….reeled in ,  quick  pic and released.  We anchored  for a snack and  in the mean time we caught a ton of trout…..so after that, it was time  to head back again.  Put the lines out 400 feet after zzzzzzzzzz !!!!  zzzzzzz!!! double trouble again…reeled ‘m in…quick pic and released…so went back again  and  I think we were loosing count by then (not really) when  BAM  BAM>>>!!!  2 more….fun, fun, fun, fun….lots of fun guys… We just spend  the whole  day  trolling “one way” enjoying the day  with a killer sunset at the end  .   9 Bulls total, and I think we were  this * close to the get that grouper, you all been catching around the bridge….hopefully next time. Here are some pics.

Fabulous report and great pictures, camera must be one of the best since those are the most colorful pics of reds...those magnificent reds......shame on anyone who would keep an illegal red....not that anyone does!

Tell us exactly how you configure your post so the typeface is that large....it sure makes reading easier. PS great sunset!

Some of the  last Reds were indeed 30 inchers...good eye! VS200 & Specslayer....Today we went out again and got 9 more Bulls , one really  close to being a keeper. RiverRat we trolled about 200ft (and in between)  closest we got to the bridge was a good 20-30 ft...  We used stretch  25's and 30's.
