I needed a small light to look under ledges and in crevices for bugs and looked at several lights available locally.  I finally decided on the Pelican Nemo 2410 light.  I purchased the light at a dive shop in Pensacola.  Here are the specs:

Whether you are a diver, rescue professional, hard core outdoor fan or the person who just likes the best, the Pelican Nemo 2410 Flashlight with LED Recoil Technology is for you.

  • Recoil LED Technology produces a white collimated beam that's as bright as an incandescent light and provides 10,000 hours of lamp life and extended battery burn time.
  • The rugged, light weight ABS resin body is submersible to 500 feet and the thumb switch is easy to use.
  • With 4 AA Alkaline batteries (included) this light weighs 7.3 oz. and produces 32 Lumens.
  • Material: ABS resin body
  • Waterproof: Submersible to 500 ft
  • Size: 7" in (17.8 cm)
  • Bulb: 1 Watt LED
  • Weight: 7.3 oz (with batteries)
  • Batteries: 4 AA Alkaline
  • Burn time: 32 hrs

Personally, I like the the switch and the beam pattern.  I used it yesterday during a day dive and it worked great,  What surprised me the most is its performance when I tried it later that night at home.  I was amazed how it illuminated the woods 100' away.  I just couldn't believe the amount of light produced by a 1 watt LED bulb.  It's now a permanent part of my everyday dive gear.  I also have an Ikelite Mini C and an Ikelite RCD, which are great for night dives bur are a bit too large for everyday daylight divng.  The light is approximately 7" long and 1 3/4" diameter at the lens.  The handle is rectangular and measures approximately 1 3/3" width  x 3/4"  height.  It comes complete with 4 AA alkaline batteries and a lanyard.  I attached it to my BC shoulder strap.  The one handed operation makes it ideal for spearfishing and hunting for bugs.  Notice the extremely long burn time.  I compared it to 4 and 5 watt LED bulbs and could not tell the difference.  This is truly something that has to be seen to be appreciated.
