I have no horse in this race. As an immigrant I am just grateful every day to be living where there is more than one party to vote for, and despite the rhetoric, neither is a crazy commie or nazi wannabe! But I came across this gem; i thought i knew where i stood on the political spectrum, a sort of middle of the road kind of guy. If you have a few minutes follow the link, take the test and at the end see where you really stand and what world politicians most share your views. http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

| There are a few of these tests. I don't think they are hugely accurate but I think they are a good basis for you to take it and see where you stand and then explore from there. I think there are often times when someone thinks they are at one spot in the spectrum and take the test and find out they were wrong the entire time.

| I'm with you Wayne. I don't think just because I believe the big Business has a responsibility to look what it does to the enviroment means I lean to the Left.

| The part that most people don't realize is that you can be radical left about 20 things and radical right about 20 other things. This is why I keep preaching for people to look at their beliefs, those tests are a good way to do this as they kind of give you a shopping list of things to look at that you may not have thought of, and then go out and research candidates that are most inline with your beliefs. If you find out that Obama fits your beliefs then vote for him, if you find out that McCain represents your beliefs vote for him. MOST importantly, if you find out that Jim Bob from Oklahoma in the Pigsknuckle Party is closest to your beliefs THEN VOTE FOR JIM BOB. Don't vote for someone that doesn't represent you just because you know they won't win. If you do this then that is why we are in the state we are in. If everyone in the nation took the time to do this and then subsequently voted you would see a very different outcome in the elections. Libertarian is a very good example. There are probably a ton of libertarians voting republican having no clue that they are better represented by someone else.

| Yes, but that is a question that could be used to push you further to the left, right, top or bottom. That question would be one more likely used to push you as an extremist rather than a particular side.

| What personally threw me was how few i marked 'very much' either agree or disagree. I sort of could also see the other side to many questions. It could also have been the early time of day i filled it in,i was kind of mellow. Maybe after driving in the I40 traffic a while i would feel more inclined that some folks never be allowed to breed or get the death penalty!

| They are all biased, that's the point. If you select strongly agree with a biased question then you are moved deeply into that category. You can't pick a side if you don't ask a biased question.
