Put the lines in at the Spur around 1:00 am on the 29th. Water was dirty green. No swordfish to be had. Managed to dip up 8 or 10 live ballyhoo that came to the blue lites. Around 6:00 am started trolling and went down the 200f curve for 50 or so miles. Found the blue green water (more green than blue) but there was no life, grass, rips or anything. Decided to ease NW to the Elbow. Water was a better clean green, but no bait or fish. Found a push in 800' but no life. Most of the bait we found was in 30f W of the Elbow in a better blue green water. 400 gallons and not a knockdown. Maybe next time. Appears that the Nipple and a little S of it was the place to be that day! Hopefully the water will improve this fall.
