...another liberal loon. Why am I not surprised?

McCain should go with Romney for the economic angle and he should wipe Obomba/Biden fairly easily. It would have been a stronger ticket if it had been Obomba/Clinton but someones ego got in the way.The Messiah just stumbled...again.

Something else to think about:

What is Obomba gonna say now about his not voting for the Iraq war, after all Joe Biden did vote for it.Ha ha.

That was the fastest post deletion I have ever seen youcarenow..

So you are saying Biden believed the same intel the Bush got? Biden voted for the war but Obomba did not--------there goes that "I didn't vote for the war ,but John McCain did" sound bite.

or how about the racist remarks Biden made about 7-11 clerks in Delaware. He said you could not visit one without some funny Indian or Pakistani accent.

Biden brings his own version of racism along with him and should make some entertaining t.v over the next few weeks.

yea i deleted it, because i really just didn't want to get into it further.........you win.

everyone fell for the tricks to get into iraq....so i'm not sure why that would be an issue.........of course the gop could make spin about big foot rooming with a candidate for three years in the mountains and people would be believe it (and that's brilliant work i might add)

It's not about winning and it sure is not personal.

It is about making a point though.Trust me,I would much rather be fishing today instead of being on here.

What do I think?

I think it will be funny to see all of the posts that people are going to put on here about Biden like they have been tracking his career for years. The best part is going to be the people that start posting lies that we'll have to go to snopes to research.

I already saw someone refer to his racism. I find it funny when someone claims to hate the politically correct nature of the democrats and then the instant you have a democrat that makes a non-politically correct comment they jump on that candidate rather than praise the fact that he thinks just like most people. This is gonna be good. I'm going to go ahead and log into snopes and watch the crap pile on.

I'm not going to post lies, just my opinion. I think Obama just blew it and I'm glad he picked Biden.

Good choice, for him. He's only made a few lately. Let the game begin.

I really don't like either guy, but, I like him not. Obama has no experience. His charisma doesn't dazzle me. I'd like to see him in 8 years.

Do you think Obomba is going to question Joe Biden about how many homes he owns? Has anyone seen his compound in Delaware?

Yeah, been there. It's sweet. I like how he's ridden the train to work in DC for 20-30 years though and I think he drinks beer.

LOL, and it starts.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Biden

Let's start there. Hmmm, Irish Catholic family. 1 of 4 kids to a car salesman and his wife. I don't see any hints of inherited wealth. Went to college (not harvard or yale) then went on to become a lawyer. Started his political career at 30 and has been a politician ever since.

So far from what I have read, Joe Biden is from a working class family that went to college and became a lawyer and then a politician. No extreme wealth and it says he has lived in the same town since 1972'ish. It even goes so far to say that he commutes via train to DC. Nothing indicating he has a vast number of houses. Hell, it doesn't even say more than 1. Quick search indicates that a Senator makes about 170K a year not including what he probably makes from book sales and speaking engagements. Meaning that he makes a pretty fair amount of cash.

Where exactly do you find fault with this guys life again? This guy is a pretty standard american guy who just happens to be a politician. Hell, he might even be a fisherman.

How in the hell do you manage to talk shit about this guy?

I think seanspots was just making a point about the fact that Obama is real quick to point out McCain's wealth(when did it become such a bad thing to be wealthy by the way?), when he and Biden both live in houses worth over $1 million bucks and yes, Biden does have a multi-residence compound that at first glance would appear to belong to someone of some decent wealth - whether it be inherited or earned, I don't think anyone questioned that.

You can be wealthy and still grasp what a common man deals with, or you can be wealthy and be totally clueless about what the common man has to deal with. No one ever said it was a bad thing to be wealthy, it is a bad thing to be wealthy and be totally clueless to what non wealthy people really have to deal with.

I don't think McCain is a bad candidate at all, I think he would be a fine president. But, to honestly say that someone is not rich until they make 5 million????? Per year?????? OMFG come on. No one who actually walks down the streets of america would honestly say that rich = $5 mil a year as the bottom. Would you say that? Let's take a poll on the PFF of those that think someone making 3million a year is middle class.

Wonder what McCain was thinking all those years in the Hanoi Hilton? Maybe sacrificing for freedom,so you can own 1 house or 10 houses.I think he paid his dues and hope he buys a few more,You think all the welfare recipients are appreciative of his sacrifices. What the hell has Obomba sacrificed for our country or does he want to just ridicule those who actually have?

"What has Obomba sacrificed for his counrty" you ask?  Let's see, his  half brother lives in a hut on less than $12/year.  His grandmother has neither running water nor a toilet.  How much more sacrifice of "Obomba" do you require?   I believe he's sacrificed enough already.

It doesn't matter how much money one has accumulated in their lifetime, what matters is how those monies WERE accumulated, and at who's expense. Just ask the people on the South side of Chicago.

Please explain how the living conditions of people (who are distant relatives) who live in AFRICA have anything to do with any "sacrifice" that Obama has had to make? I'm going to play the low-ball, class-warfare card for a moment, since it seems to be so convenient for some people. A REAL "sacrifice" would have been for Obama to take some of the millions that he has earned over the past few years and spend it on IMPROVING the the piss-poor living conditions of those relatives in Africa who are so dear to his heart. Actually I am expecting this to be a campaign tactic for him over the next few weeks. He'll probably throw some US dollars at the poor kin folk in Africa and then just drool over the positive press headlines in the mainstream media. He'll seem like such a compassionate man and the talking heads on the news shows will weep as if Jesus himself healed their child's sickness.

Give me a break!

I myself wouldn't expect anything different, as his alliance is to Africa FIRST and NOT to the United States. So states his churches beliefs to which he belong to for 20 years, Ummmmm that must be something else he never realized either.

Are you actually going to blame the conditions in the south side of Chicago on Obama???? Dude, ROFL, I am from Illinois. The south side of Chicage has always been a shithole. ROFL

People have been trying to clean up the south side of Chicago since there was a south side and no one has pulled it off. Hell, Jim Croce wrote about the south side of Chicago when Obama was a baby. Never has been a nice place never will be one, but people can but try. At least he gave the money to businesses and not the people. See, that is thought of in many circles as the proper way to handle these things rather than give the money directly to a bunch of people in the form of welfare. At least hard working americans got the money from building those buildings. And if you keep pointing that finger at his friends then I'm going to immediately point out that Haliburton was given all of the rebuilding opportunities in Iraq and it wasn't until Haliburton was already there was the bidding opened up. Well, of course, no one could outbid the guy that already had the foot hold. And who was in charge of Haliburton? Which company has had several counts of fraud brought against them? Which company lost billions of dollars? Which company is overcharging us for the rebuild? When are you going to wake up and see that this crap is on BOTH sides of that fence?

Seanspots...now youre trying to tell me that being held captive makes you a good presidential candidate and that people should vote for McCain because he was locked in a box? Well, shit, let's go dig homeless people out from under the overpasses and elect them, surely living in really shitty conditions qualifies you for anything. How in the hell can you even go there when your currently elected republican dodged Vietnam. Hell, you could even go so far as to say that had GW not avoided Vietnam maybe there'd have been one more pilot up there to help McCain so he didn't get shot down in the first place. There are a crapload of americans that were in Vietnam, Korea, Various locations in WW2. Their sacrifices were extreme and appreciated by a huge number of americans. That doesn't mean that they would make great presidents. My dad got shot to shit in Vietnam, do you think he should be president?

Ronald Reagan was arguably one of our greatest presidents ever, he was an actor with minimal military background who didn't sacrifice a damn thing. You don't have to have been tortured to be great.

Sarcasm is stating the opposite of an intended meaning especially in order to sneeringly, slyly, jest or mock a person, situation or thing.

You obviously missed the "sarcasm".

Actually, yeah, I missed your sarcasm. The reason is that I have already seen too many arguments for him that sounded exactly like your post. I have never heard so many ridiculously weak arguments used to prop up a guy with nothing to offer. Unfortunately, with Obama, it is difficult to determine the difference between someone who is being sarcastic and someone who is a disciple of the new messiah.

So, I apologize if it seemed I was flaming away on you. I forgot to include my intro, which was that I read an article just the other day using Obama's African roots, and the rough lives of his African relatives as qualifiers for his candidacy (basically your point, as well). The disciples eat up that stuff, and spew it everywhere they go. To these people the fact that he has "Africa" in his DNA means he is THE ONE. If he doesn't win the presidency he will damn sure be the world's most powerful cult leader.

Here fishy, fishy... look what I've got for ya

Reading political threads on this site is freaking hilarious. Some of you guys need training wheels to understand the issues and others are so freaking biased they haven't got even the slightest inclination to investigate the facts in the ideological doctrine they've adhered to.

Oh well, at least there's no chance Bush or Clinton will be in again.
