Nice fish Brant, hard to find this time of year...KUDO's...but Pink Floyd (from your youtube selection) at their current age just don't sound like they did, when I was in my 20's!

KEEP AN OCCASSIONAL RED HERE AND THERE FOR DINNER, BUT FOR THE REST, PRACTICE HEALTHY CATCH & RELEASE TECHNIQUES SAVE SOME FOR THE FUTURE!

I knew it was getting close! I sure hope they are stacked up this year because I seemed to have missed them completely at the pier.

| Brant, If you dont mind my asking, what are ya'll using for the reds? I fished all afternoon yesterday on the North side of the sound. I saw a bunch of reds in 18" - 30" of water but they wouldn hit anything. Tried Gulp shrimp & jerks and gold spoons they just turned their noses up and swam away. They are fun to watch & sneak up on but its frustrating when you cant get them to bite. Bryan

Theres alot of Pressure, alot of bait for them, and the water is very clear. I usually throw as small of a soft plastic that I can get away with. I try to go with as light of wieght as possible too.
