Wondering if anyone can tell me where I can buy some decent size live shrimp in the Pace/Pensacola area. The ones I bought the other day were tiny. 2nd question is does the size matter much?  Problem for me last time was that the small fish were eating mine up quickly.

size matters- in terms of having enough weight to cast the shrimp. elephants eat peanuts when you can throw them at the elephant's face...

in other words- big shrimp are preferred for casting reasons only. the live shrimp are supplied typically by the same person to all our local shops, so if the supplier is catching large shrimp you will get large shrimp at the shop. basically, whatever the supplier is catching is what you can buy. the shrimp have been poor this year in terms of size, IMHO.
