I went out around 5:30 P.M. looking for kings. I had a dead ribbonfish and dead cigar minnows with no luck around the Mass. Anyone have any luck in the evening for Kings?

went out last week about the same time as you did and no luck around the mass either and no live bait to be had so just put 2 dusters without live bait and took home a 10# in about 45 minutes between the outer bouys. hope this keeps you trying even with out bait.

I have not fished the pass or the mass this year for kings yet.  But this time last year, I had my best luck for kings in the early mornings about sunrise.  The bite would always drop off around 9am.  I have caught plenty throughout the day.  But I always simply pulled stretches  in the early morning hours and always had non stop action.
