Go out of the pass over to gulf breeze area, about 4 6 miles off beach you will find plenty of areas to fish. catch snapper , grouper lots of stuff to fish on. good area for trolling

If you are asking about Destin pass, there is rock bottom just out the pass to the left, you can see all of the charter boats catching their bait there in the a.m., but there are several of other species down there. Fun to fish and real close!

Go to Wally world and buy a map/chart with the GPS coordinates of the rocks, wrecks and manmade reefs. That's what I did and I live in ARKANSAS! When I'm down I cruise straight out Destin pass to right on top of where I want to be. That and my Garmin E Trec are worth every penny!
